Introduction
A good place to start
Acknowledgment
I would like to thank to Mr. Dimo Pierre for his support and continuous inspiration for writing this book. Also, I am grateful for our conversations and know-how transfer, for his patience and his time.
A big thank you, Mr. Dimo!
Before you start
This book was supposed to be in French, since my writing skills are not at the corresponding level to write a book, I preferred to use English. The intended audience is undergraduate students from Polytechnic University of Bucharest, 2nd year, French stream, and the subject is Operating Systems. This material is the companion for the lab activity. The students are supposed to have a basic knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, an experience with a high level programming language (Java, C/C++) and the good will to learn Python.
The book is not an extensive or exhaustive presentation of Python language nor a full programming language course. If you need such materials you will find them on the Internet and nobody is stopping you from learning. Please take this reading as an invitation to extend your knowledge, an opening toward Python's wonderful world.
